Burlington Industries Philippines, Inc. is the trademark owner of several well-known sock and garment brands in the Philippines — including Burlington, Biofresh, Puma, Bally, Driplus, and Knit.

The company manufactures a full range of hosiery products — from sports, dress, and casual socks for men to trouser socks, foot covers, and stockings for women, as well as school socks for children. Beyond hosiery, Burlington also produces tops and bottoms for both adults and kids, along with a wide selection of undergarments designed for all ages.

The Humble Threads of a Legacy

The story begins under a different name: Mil-Oro Manufacturing Corp. Nestled in Quezon City, the company started with a very modest fleet of machines and a singular focus — crafting quality socks for men, women, and children. Though the operation was small, the ambition was woven tight into every pair of hosiery that left the factory floor.

Moving to the Heart of Business

By the early 1970s, the company's growth necessitated a move to San Antonio Village in Makati City — positioning itself at the heart of the country's rising commercial hub. A physical shift that signaled an even larger ambition brewing within.

1994

Defining the Identity

Management made a pivotal decision in 1994 to rename the company Burlington Industries Philippines, Inc. This wasn't just a name change — it was a declaration of intent. Burlington began curating an impressive portfolio of brands, becoming the trademark owner for names that would define comfort for Filipinos: Burlington, Puma, Dri+, Bally, Camp, Biofresh, Knit, and Omo.
